Plan of Investigation

My group chose the topic Drug abuse and I chose to focus on ‘The effects of Drug Abuse on
adults’. I chose that topic because I have observed people in my community who are mentally
ill and as a result of Drug Abuse. I believe it is important to research this topic so that
younger persons as myself can be aware of the dangers of Drug Abuse. I will be collecting
my data b reading articles on drug abuse and speaking to family members of drug abusers and
watching features on drug abuse. Some of the factors that may interfere with the soundness of
this research are; inaccurate data sources, time constraint, improper interpretation of data. In
an effect to minimize these challenges I will be consulting my teacher regularly when
selecting my data sources at the end of this School Based Assessment. I believe my oral and
comprehension skills will improve.
