Plan of Investigation

From my group theme Adolescence, I have chosen to research on the topic: How does peer
pressure affect adolescent mental health. I have chosen this topic because I would like to find
out how peers pressuring you during adolescents take a negative effect on mental health.
Meetings with my group members will be used to discuss the information and materials
apprehended and how they will be used best in completing this research.

I intend on using access to the internet, magazines and newspaper articles to gather relevant
information. I am certain my skills in comprehending, analysing and collecting data will be
improved. Peer pressure does have a very negative effect on adolescents that are involved but
may be prevent.

I expected that there will be factors that may hinder this smooth research. Three such factors are
propaganda, bandwagonism and hasty generalization. I will minimize the use of bandwagonism
by making sure the information used will be from credible sources.
