This is because, if there are any aforementioned hazards are present in the workplace, it will make
staff or team members become less inefficient, lose interest and motivation, low job involvement
and other that may affect their performance while taking job.

How can you ensure you are always up to date on latest WHS changes in your industry?

Company should conduct WHS procedure or guidelines which staff, team members and managers
are expected to adhere to at all times to meet with the required legislation and Duty of care. Man-
agers should be looking for ways to access information on WHS at all times.

What are some of the ways you can implement a safe working environment in your organisa-
tion?

1) Create a WHS procedure and guideline.

2) Inspect the workplace to make sure all equipment and tools being used are safe.
3) Provide training for employees regarding WHS.
4) Communicate to employees regularly.
5) Investigate any incidents and provide solutions.

Why do you think it is important to allow staff to have access to information relating to
WHS?

Workplace safety is very important to each staff because all staff desire to work in a safe and pro-
tected atmosphere. Every staff have the responsibilities to understand their protection and wellness
in the industry. Besides, staffs have the responsibility on cooperate with organisations regarding to
WHS as well.
