UPPER AND LOWER TENSION ADJUSTMENT

REGULATING THE LOWER THREAD TENSION

1) What happen when you take the test?
When I do the test, I have to check if the wheel tension is ok. If the tension is not correct, I
have to change it, for this I have to turn to the right for more tension or turn to the left for less
tension
2) How are the knots with respect to the fabric?
If the tension is correct, you shouldn’t see the knots either above or below
UNBALANCED TENSIONS
3) How are the knots with respect to the fabric? What does that mean?
the knots are at the top, decrease the tension in the upper thread or increase the tension in
the coil.
4) How are the knots with respect to the fabric? What does that mean?
the knots are below the fabric, so the bobbin thread is too tight, we must increase the
tension of the upper thread or decrease the tension of the bobbin.
