Dear pupils, dear parents,

As part of our 10th anniversary celebrations this year we are launching a Bookmark
Competition.

The theme is “EELUX2 celebrates its 10th birthday “.

Any pupil in their L1 class may enter the competition and these are the steps to follow:

1. Pupils design an individual bookmark on the paper template attached to the email.

NOTE: Complementing the theme, pupils have to either integrate, newly invent or alter the
logo design with a 10 (the number).

2.Each L1 class teacher selects one bookmark using any criteria they like, (e.g. class
vote)

3.From Monday 06/02/2023 L1 teachers drop the “winning” image of their class into the
special box placed in the library.

4.Please ensure that the name and class of the artist is written clearly at the bottom front of
the bookmark.

5.The deadline for submissions is Friday 17/02/2023. Any bookmarks submitted after the
deadline will not be eligible to participate in the competition.

A committee will be set up in order to choose the winner and runner up. There will only be
one winning bookmark for Secondary and one runner up i.e. one image for each side of the
bookmark which will be printed for every pupil in secondary to keep. The pupils with the
winning entries will receive a prize kindly provided by the Parents' Association APEEEL2.
