    Simon Peter allowed Jesus to use his boat to teach the crowds who had gathered along the shore. Jesus then asked Simon to push further out into the deep waters so he could continue teaching, and though Simon was tired from having fished all night without success, he obeyed Jesus. When Jesus finished teaching, he told Simon to let down his nets, and Simon caught so many fish that his nets began to break. Simon and his partners were amazed at the miraculous catch, and Simon fell at Jesus' knees, acknowledging that he was a sinful man but that he would follow Jesus from that point on.

    2. What is challenge that you realized in the gospel?
    - I realized that the gospel of salvation was communicated by Jesus in every context
    and circumstance. The human being, the only creature in the cosmos that is both
    spirit and matter, is symbolized by the water's edge, where the sea and earth meet.
    We are reminded of the two dimensions of our being by the ceaseless movement of
    the tides. As a result, we are always moving from one to the other.
