Title: life of cholistan
Channel: Discover Pakistan.
In this documentary "The Cholistan Desert" which is also known as locally as
Rohi, is a large desert in the southern Punjab state of Pakistan, part of the Great
Thar Desert. It is one of the two major deserts in Punjab, the other being the Thar
Desert. In this documentary they show that people of Cholistan are innocent and
live their lives as they travel from place to place in search of food and move with
their animals. The main landmark of Cholistan is the Drawer Fort, which is also
the identifying symbol of Cholistan. Dera Nawab Sahib is 48 km from Dera
Nawab Sahib. The local language is Saraiki, which is also spoken throughout
Cholistan, which indicates its historical significance and context. This
documentary shows life in the desert, where nomads roam to meet their basic
needs. Due to lack of water and rainfall, Cholistan is heavily dependent on its
animal sources. Local handicrafts include leather crafts, fabrics, and textiles. The
off-road race called Cholistan Jeep Rally is unique and one of Cholistan’s most
exciting adventures. Cholistan is well known in Pakistan for its high-quality wool
rugs. It is also produced in large quantities in other parts of Pakistan. The Delaware
Fort is the best preserved example of this series of historic forts, some dating from
pre-Mughal times but all restored and expanded by powerful local clans between
the 16th and 18th centuries. In this video they show their cultures. In Cholistan
they called Camels as "desert planes”. Through this video we'll gained so much
knowledge about cholistan dessert. This one is of the historical places in Pakistan.
