DIGITAL MARKETING VS TRADITIONAL

Digital Marketing: Digital Marketing is a set of channels where different sales strategies can be
implemented where a company can reach many people knowing their tastes, hobbies, preferences,
mentality, aspirations, dreams, goals and objectives that they have in their life.
Through digital marketing, a greater scope of sales can be achieved and not only in the city where
said company is established, other nearby cities, the same country and internationally.
Here are some examples of digital marketing:
1. Live Chat: This is an online service that allows companies to have conversations with their
customers and thus improve sales time.
2. Conversational Marketing: This is an online service where we use an intelligent chatbot that will
help capture potential customers who are researching information on the website.
3. Organic social: I feel that this is one of the most effective methods, I have even used it, I have
used my social networks to promote my products.
4. Paid Social: This is paid advertising through networks, those typical ads that appear in our feed.
5. Newsletters by email: They are those typical emails that arrive in the promotions section.
Which companies should use this option? I think that all those who are in search of growth and
innovation.
- Advantages of using digital marketing: Customer segmentation, greater reach in sales and people,
it can be constantly scaled.
- Disadvantages of using digital marketing: If it is a physical business, a lot of investment.
Traditional Marketing: Traditional marketing consists of advertising through traditional channels
and thus being able to reach the largest number of possible customers in different ways, these
potential customers could be people who do not access the network or people who are around the
company that offers this type of service.
Here are some examples of traditional marketing:
1. Billboards: Posters that are used in different places and attract the attention of the client.
2. Television advertisements: All those advertisements that are given through the TV channels.
3. Sponsorships: I hope I'm right; I remember an occasion where a girl who was participating in a
sports career asked for sponsorship from some companies and they were within her advertising and
thus she would reach many more athletes in the area.
Which companies should use this option? I think that all those who are just entering the market,
many people are afraid of investing in the digital market and losing money and this would be a very
good option to learn to trust, I also think that those companies that want to target specific people or
places specific.
Advantages of using traditional marketing: Being quite broad.
Disadvantages of using traditional marketing: little customer participation.
