Intelligence
Introduction

Intelligence is the process of receiving information. Intelligence is the true, factual


reliable news. Intelligence is the conclusion that is reached by evaluating and analyzing
the initial information and confirming the reality, relevance, reality and importance.
Information on internal and external issues related to the sovereignty, geographical
integrity, independence, national security and national interest of the nation, important
information useful for policy making and planning of the nation, information obtained
from available sources by processing and analysis A process that is distributed is called
intelligence.
• Intelligence is defined as for knowledge about organizational structure, strength,
plan, policy, programs and intention of the targets.
• One of the oldest professions in the world.
• First line of defense.
• Intelligence is an art.
• Contentious issue & continuous process.
• Intelligence deals with all things, which should be known in advance to initiate
a course of action.
• In terms of understanding intelligence, it is very important to understand
information. Information is the initial information received about any person,
organization, group topic or event.
• All intelligence is information, but all information is not intelligence.

Types of Intelligence
A. Tactical / Operational Intelligence
• Target's leadership, manpower, supporters, etc. and news related to their
planning and activities.
• Information on Training Centers, Shelters, Head Offices, and Base Areas.
• Information on the geographical data, economic, political, sociological,
scientific, transportation, communication, armed force data of the target
group by any state in the current context.
• Action plan related to the effect of the enemy’s side, news related to the
course of action.

B. Strategic Intelligence
• Information on the organizational structure, capabilities, capabilities,
principles, objectives, ideology, methods and history of the target
(enemy).

C. Evidential intelligence
• Necessary evidence, photographs, paperwork documents, promotional
materials, audio-visual materials and other documents related to legal
proceedings.
