    A: Do you think I could borrow your car this afternoon?

    Mine's at the repair shop, and I need to pick up my

    mom at the airport.

    B: Gee, I'm sorry, but I'm going to need it. I have a

    doctor's appointment.

    A: No problem. I'll think of something.

    B: Hey. I have an idea. Maybe you could get Jack to lend

    you his car.

    A: Good idea. I'll go ask him.


    NOW YOU CAN Offer a solution

    A CONVERSATION ACTIVATOR With a partner, change the Conversation Model. Change
