Project Scope:
Bidfreight Port Operations appointed Bosch Projects for the full multi-
disciplinary range of services required to convert an unused site at
Maydon Wharf for the storage of refrigerated and normal containers.

Features:
Bidfreight Port Operations (BPO) operates the Rainnie Road Container
Handling Facility. This terminal currently receives and dispatches 20
and 40 foot refrigerated and normal containers. Containers are loaded
and off-loaded onto trucks through a gantry.

The Electrical Contract consisted of :


 MV Mini-sub with Standby diesel generator and automatic
changeover panel
 The installation of Low Voltage Cabling and Distribution Boards
 Interior lighting, high masts and floodlighting
 Three Phase power points for Refrigerated Container (Reefers)
 Earthing and lightning protection system

The Civil Contract consisted of :


 Demolition of existing infrastructure
 Stormwater system
 Layerworks and Pavement
