Name:

CT PELVI-ABDOMEN, Contiguous axial cuts were obtained

through the abdomen and pelvis with oral & IV contrast and
revealed:
A huge 14 x 13 x 12 cm well defined smooth regular outline cystic
lesion involving most of the right lobe of the liver with mass effect
on the surrounding liver parenchyma and the cyst has a close
relation to the gall bladder with minimaly dilated intra hepatic
biliary radicle mainly on the left lobe
The cyst show characters suggesting of biliary cystadenoma /
cystadenocarcinoma )on the frm of well-defined thick fibrous
capsule measuring 4 mm , internal septations measuring 3-5 mm ,
and mural nodularity measuring 9 x 5 mm which show
enhancement after contrast injection with focal papillary
excrescence on the lower part of the cyst
The liver appears enlarged in size by the cyst with the rest of the liver
parenchyma displaying homogeneous parenchymal density.
The spleen appears average in size displaying normal homogeneous CT
density. No evidences of splenic masses or cysts were detected.
The pancreas: appears average in size displaying normal CT density. No
evidences of pncreatic masses or cysts were detected.
The gall bladder appears average in size displaying normal wall
enhancement. No evidences of intra-luminal calculi or masses were
detected.
Both kidneys appear average in size displaying normal function &
parenchymal enhancement. No evidences of renal masses, stones, cysts or
back pressure changes were detected.
Uterus:
average size ,homogenous echopattern,no focal lesions
,no ednexial masses with no fluid on cul de sac.
Normal CT features of the bladder .
No evidences of lymphadenopathy were detected.
No ascites.
Opinion picture highly suggestive of biliary cystadenoma less suggesting
biliary cystadenocarcinoma for clinical correlation and further assessment
if clinicaly indicated
