Abdomino-pelvic US examination revealed:
-Liver: shows normal size and fatty pattern. No focal lesion with
dilated intrahepatic biliary radicals. Portal vein 11 mm. Hepatic veins
not congested.
-Spleen: shows normal size. No focal lesion.
-Gall bladder -Shows normal size & clear bile.
-No stones, mud or masses.
- Normal wall thickness.
-C.B.D shows dilated caliber 9mm till its distal part
with no detected stones .

-Both kidneys -show normal size, site & shape.


-No stones or backpressure changes.
-Normal parenchymal thickness & echogencity.
-No masses or cysts seen.
-Para aortic & retroperitoneal region: No masses or
lymphadenpathy.

-Pancreas: shows bulky head 3.4cm & body 2.6cm with rim of fluid
around & prominent pancreatic duct 3mm associated with dilated
CBD ( double duct sign ) …. Picture suggesting acute pancreatitis
for further laboratory correlation & follow up.
-Urinary bladder: shows no stones or masses.
-prostate: shows normal size & no masses .
- Mild free fluid is seen in Morrison pouch
