SELF EVALUATION

1. Kezia
During this semester, I mostly learned about Personal and Fiction Narrative. Then, in other
subjects, I learned the following : SCIENCE:Types of resources, Engineering, and all about
matter S.S: Byzantine Empire, Muslim empire, West and East african kingdoms, and
Europe in Middle ages LITERATURE: Salva and his story MATH: Prime Factorization,
Scientific Notation, GCF a LCM, Binary Numbers, Estimation, Expression, Graph,
Inequalities,and Fraction With all those lessons, I master the way how to depict my
thoughts in Social Study lessons especialy in African history. However, I have leaks in
falling action and resolution in a story and in some other subjects. To improve my
performances for the next semester however, I will work hard in those following subjects :
Science, P.E., and French. Apart that, my goal for this second semester is to remember all
my lessons especialy science and social study lessons. A way of reaching that goal is to
devote a special time for reviewing my lessons. But before that, I need the teachers to
decrease the projects, homeworks, and explaining the lessons better with enough details. If
I apply all of that, I am sure to improve in the next trimester
2. Mihaja
The first time I knew that the “Trimester” was going to change into “Semester”, I realized that
we would only have less exams but more lessons and work to retain in our mind. So in this
first semester, I've learned: how was Islam made and how it spread, the Byzantine empire and
how it fell, the west and east African civilization and its trade, the Bantu migration, feudalism,
and the Crusades and Pope and King in social studies. In science, I learned about: natural
resources, matter and its particles and kinetic energy. Finally, I learned how to write any
Personal and Fictional writing. My favorite subject had already been ELA or also called
Literature. So as I like it, I know it well, then I can say it is the subject with the highest points
I got this semester. Besides, my weakness and what I don’t know the most are: about natural
resources in Science, and the civilization in Africa found in the Social Study. I think I should
research more answers and explanations in other books or on the internet, if I don’t
understand the lesson well or when I don’t have enough answers.  My following objectives
for semester 2 would be to really stay concentrated on my real goals to study, also to always
listen to the teacher, and try not to forget homeworks. I can reach those goals by being more
confident of myself and reading and reviewing more. They will help me by coraging me and
of course persuading me to learn more of my lessons. 
3. Luxanah
This semester,
I learned about many moral lessons in my social studies lesson, like in Byzantine empire and
the others. I learned how to use the scientific notation and Binary Numbers in Math. I master
how to explain about the cause of the crusades. I am able to remember the engineering design
process. However, I am still struggling in explain why a continuous or not continuous. I need
to be improved in personal narrative writing. I think more extra explanation and hard work
would improve my academic performance. For the semester 2, my goal is to get better in
science especially about engineering design process. I can reach my goal by learning well and
work hard. From my parents and my teacher, I would like more explanations especially from
my teachers
4. Iriana
During this first semester I’ve learned many interesting lessons. I’ve learned about many new things
like scientific notation in math, I was really interested in it. In everything we did during this trimester,
the most that I’m able to do is to write an interesting essay. However, I still have problem with some
exercises in math, especially in expressions, it should be easy but I still don’t really understand it. I
think I could improve my academic performance by a bit of perseverance. For the next semester, I
will try my best for all the subject. I’ll try to make everything I do better! I’ll to learn everything by
myself. I’ll understand more about the teacher’s lessons.

5. Kanto
This semester, I learned a lot things including binary number, inequalities, scientific notation, Islam,
Byzantine Empire, crusades, kings and popes, constraints and criteria, East and West African trades.
Also, learned about many trade routes that countries had. I’m able to solve binary numbers and tell
the reasons of the spread of Islam and the 5 pillars of Islam. However, I still need to be improved in
order of operations and in the difference between the East and West Roman Empires. I’m also still
struggling about the properties that liquid share with solid or liquid share with gas. I think I could
improve my academic performance by working hard and by reviewing harder. My next goal for
semester 2 is to double all of my score in each subject. I can reach my goal by research more and dig
about the lesson more, and review about it more. My teacher can help me be successful by giving me
more details about the lesson.

6. Bani
I have learned many moral lessons in Social Studies. In math I learned how to write numbers
in scientific notations. Ela was a subject in which I learned how to make narrative writing by
the literature elements. My glows are almost all the lessons in Social Studies. I also glow in
the literature. However, I still have difficulties applying to Math lessons and don't really
understand Science lessons. The way to improve my academic performances, I could stop
all  my distractions and start to focus on my priorities, which is my study. My goals for
semester 2 are to improve my accent, Math, Science, and to get all the distractions out of my
mind. I could reach my goals by persevering in my study and to stop being late in my lessons
and exercises. My teacher could help me by explaining the lessons more clearly. Also my
parents could confiscate all my technologies at home for less distractions to help me to be
successful.

7. Narovana
This semester I have learned many thing in each subject, such as: Math, Science, Social
Studies, Writing and Literature. In Math, I learned about binary number, and scientific
notation. In Science, I learned about particles of matter, criteria, constraint, scientists and
engineers. In S.S, I learned about Byzantine Empire and the Bantu migration. In Writing, I
learned about kinds of plots. In Literature, I learned new story about Nya and Salva. I am able
in Social Studies, which is: the Bantu speaker and the silent barter. I need to be improved in
Science, which is: scientists and engineers. To improve my academic performance, I would
always revise each subject every time I wake up in the morning. My next goal for the
semester 2 is to analyze text well in literature, and to learn all kinds of vocabularies in
science. I think that I would always work on the kinds of the lesson every weekend when I do
nothing. My parents and teacher can help me by always encourage me every time I struggle in
some lessons.

8. Kevin
This semester, I learned binary number, scientific notation, the crusades, byzantine empire, web
designer process, and engineering design process. I master how to solve binary numbers and how to
explain how did byzantine empire fall. However, I am still struggling in how to explain the spread of
Islam religion. I think I could improve the way I write essays and learn more about the engineering
design process. My next goal for the next semester is to be to times my actual level in every subject. I
want to know more many things in science like the engineering design process and integers in math. I
can reach that by working two times harder. Also, I will listen to the teacher’s explanations. My
teachers and parents could help me by giving me extra works.

9. Niasimbola
In this semester I have learned about the rise of crusades, convert binary number, and natural
resources. I am able to do a group work on project and quick check on math. However, I’m still
struggling on math of converting number into binary. Also I still need to improve science. I think I
need to improve my academic performance by reviewing what I need to master. My goal of semester 2
is to get the highest point that I can on exam. To reach my goal I need to review new lessons that we
have done.to make me successful I teacher should give as an extra work.

10. Randy
In Social Studies, we have learned about Byzantine Empire and the Bantu speaker. In
Literature, we had read a story about ‘A Long Walk to Water’ and character strait. In
Writing, we have learned about plot. In Math, we have learned about binary number and
scientific notation. I am able in Math, which is: divide and multiply fraction, and binary
number. I need to be improved in Science, which is: scientist and engineers. To improve my
academic performance, I will always master each subject every day. My next goal for the
semester 2 is to work hard, practice myself everyday and review every day. I can reach it by
working hard and by always listening to the teacher. My parents and teacher could help me
by encourage myself every time I struggle in some lessons.

11. Finaritra
This semester i have learned that if you are a leader you need to teach your people to be
Independent. I am able to undersatand binary numbers in Math espesially about knowing how to
convert binary numbers into orignal numbers. Howerver, I am still struggling to Under stand science
lesson especialy criteria & constrant. To increase my level of knowlege I will start to consontrate even
more on my studies and try to put my all in my studies. One thing I really need to improve is science
and socai studies I need to consontrate well and try to understand more and lern more my lesson
every day. To reach this I will avoid using my pc and review most of the time. I think my parents are
the one who can help me because teachers mostly doesnt understand me.
 12. Amboara
During this semester, I’ve discovered many new things and mastered things I didn’t understand last
year. My teachers gave me more details of my lessons last year which made me understand more
about things I didn’t master yet. In math, I got more adapted to use integers compared to before. I
got to learn about binary number, which I’ve always wanted to know more when I saw something
about it on TV. I’ve also learned how to write my answers in scientific notation which I really
appreciate because it doesn’t complicate my life. In science, I was given more details about the three
states of matter and I discovered new things such as engineer and scientist’s way of investigating. In
social studies, I master the lesson about Europe’s history and ancient life such as its feudal system,
medieval culture and learning, and the crusades. In ELA, I have learned how to develop my personal
narrative and entertain the reader of my writing. Also, I finally discovered how to write a fictional
story. I noticed I improved and understand more stuffs in math such as using scientific notation and
inequalities. However, I am still confused on order of operations with rational numbers. In science, I
am good at identifying ways to conserve natural resources everyday which make me applying them
in my everyday life. The only thing I still don’t master yet in science is about particles of matter
(identifying the way how attraction that particles have keep them together). In social studies, I
master more about medieval culture and learning (In Europe) however, I’m still confused in
byzantine empire mostly on its achievements and contributions. To improve my academic
performance, I think to learn more and make more research on what I don’t understand. I also
realize that I had the same problem as last year, I was not concentrated on the lessons or the more I
overthink, the more I forget what I’ve just learned. My goal during this second semester is to improve
and try to understand more about what I’ve learned, read my lessons more usually, use practices to
test my understandings, and to pass to 8 th grade (of course). I know that I can reach my goal if I face
my laziness and practice more. I also think that asking to my teachers/parents will help me even
more because they will give me more details or explain me what I don’t understand.
