Sadarius Hutcherson Background

Sadarius Hutcherson played basketball and football at Huntingdon High School in Tennessee.

Hutcherson was ranked the 21st-best player in Tennessee according to 247 Sports. Hutcherson

spent his collegiate career at the University of South Carolina. Hutcherson played from 2016-20

and was a great athlete. Hutcherson was named 2nd-team All-SEC by Pro Football Focus during

his senior season. According to Sports Writer Phil Steele Hutcherson was a third-team All-SEC

performer.

Hutcherson was vital to South Carolina's running game in 2020. South Carolina running back

Kevin Harris rushed for 1,000 yards. South Carolina hadn't rushed for 1,000 yards since 2013.

Hutcherson played tackle and guard at South Carolina.

More Information
Hutcherson went undrafted in 2021 and eventually signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Unfortunately, Hutcherson tore his ACL in a 2021 preseason game against the Bengals.

Hutcherson was waived by the Buccaneers on August 29, 2022. The Bucs' offensive line had

depth and Hutcherson wasn't going to be a starter on the offensive line.

Sadarius Hutcherson's story is unique for many reasons. Despite having a strong collegiate career

Hutcherson didn't have success in the NFL. Hutcherson now has a chance to prove why he was a

dominant offensive lineman in college. If Hutcherson plays well for the Showboats, he has a

chance to return to the NFL.
