a. What is advertising?
Advertising is a paid messages and a tool to communicate with the potential customer. It is
the action of calling the attention of the public to inform them about a certain product with a goal
of persuading them to become a buying customer. There are different kinds of medium that can be
used in advertising such as newspaper, television, magazine, and radio.

b. What observations and inferences have you made?


We observed that the advertising can be traced way back before the people began to sell. We have
concurred that the drawings in the caves by the ancient people can be considered as advertising as
they are telling what they see on their surroundings to other. Also, we have observed that through
the years the advertising constantly evolving, from wall painting to paper and from the big
advertisement in billboard to smartphones. We noticed that the changes occur when there is a
significant change or significant invention that happens in our world which gave us a conclusion
that advertising is directly proportional to the changes.
