Decision-making is already part of our life, and we make a lot of it.

In a simple situation
that we will encounter. Making a decision did not stop. It always comes in the
unexpected or expected time. But the question is, did I make the right decision? Scott
Rae suggests the following procedure for making a moral decision. It's not about just
making a decision, but thinking and overweighting every element within the problem. In
reality, we need to make sure that we know what we are trying to prove and have the
basis for holding on to that position. If an ethical issue arises, then try to list a more
extraordinary alternative idea before making an action of what to do. Every decision we
make, have a consequence as a result, so before we decide, analyze it and compare it
to if this is the best thing to do. If we have already figured it out and we're sure about the
result, then it's time to make a decision. In our life, we don't always face an ethical
dilemma or a challenging situation that we need to think about before we decide, but
when it's here, at least we have now a step-by-step procedure as a guide before we
make a decision. In the given scenario, I will still choose to save his lover because that is
my duty, and with this, I can show my professionalism. And yes, I admit it is hurtful because
he has a mistress, but that is not a reason for me to have revenge for them with their
situation.
