en g in e e

force. It uses Pascal's principle to create a large


amount of force from a small amount of pressure.
The press consists of a ram connected to 4 cylinders,
with the cylinders connected by tubes to a piston.
The cylinders are filled with an incompressible fluid,
and the piston is used to apply pressure to the fluid.
When a force is applied to the piston, the pressure is
transmitted equally in all directions throughout the
fluid, creating a larger force on the cylinders and the
ram.
