I. Introduction

Geological hazards are one of the main causes of calamities not only in our
community but to the world as well. People tend to not know how badly it can affect us and
the environment and the community that we are living in. Dry rivers and lower water levels
in dams would result in an insufficient supply of water for farm crops. Heatwaves can also
cause heat strokes, which can lead to death. Plant dried leaves and cogon gross cause
friction, which leads to wildfire. Volcanic eruptions and earthquakes are both instances of
geological natural disasters. Mt. Pinatubo's volcanic eruption impacted the lives of the
people in Cabanatuan City. People really don't know how can this can affect them but if
they do know how its a great chance for them.

But how can we face this? with knowledge? with preparation? all of this will be tackled
in this action plan since people in our community really need to know the cause and effects
of this Natural Hazards. Facing something that can cause your life is not a joke since these
calamities are no joke, the massive destruction this can brought to your families and home
should be well planned to lessen the destruction it can brought.

II. Objectives

To give knowledge about the effects of Natural Hazards

To Provide more Flyers regarding the effects of this
To Raise Awareness regarding Geological Hazards
To Provide more early warning systems.
To Provide more escape routed on flood prone areas
Educating the public about how to properly prepare for different types of disaster
Providing more evacuation foods for the evacuees
Raising awareness about potential hazards and how to address them
To minimize the risks and effects of geohazards on roads, road users, and the people
living in landscape ecosystem areas where roads are located
To contribute to the speedy recovery and reconstruction of roads after geohazard
events and to the mitigation of future geohazard events
III. Strategies and Actions

To prevent people from getting in danger actions and plans are being settled to
prevent harm for the people in our city which is Cabanatuan City

3.1. Waste Reduction

3.1.1. Shop eco-friendly with reusable bags; use of eco bags, paper bags
3.1.2. Recycle more
3.2. Conservation of Natural Resources
3.2.1. Use of alternative sources of power such as solar and wind energy
3.2.2. Plant trees to prevent soil erosion
3.3. Environmental Protection
3.3.1. Volunteer and educate
3.3.2. Compost
3.4. Land Development
3.4.1. Surface cover and runoff
3.4.2. Using trees to control erosion
3.5. Construction of Structures
3.5.1.Reinforced Electric Posts
3.5.2.Damping Systems

IV. Strategies and Implementation

We can do preparedness and the slight decrease of threats and possible damage
through the strategies and actions listed below, even though our top priority is the safety
and protection of the people in our community.

4.1. Waste Reduction

4.1.1. Snack packs, coffee pods, and disposable cutlery save a little time and effort,
but the packaging produces a lot of waste.
4.1.2. Fill a notebook before starting a brand-new one. Make a shopping list on
recovered content or old envelopes, and print on both sides."
4.2. Conservation of Natural Resources
4.2.1.These alternative sources of energy are bio-friendly, particularly because they
do not generate harmful gases that erode the ozone layer. They outclass burning fossil
fuels like coal and charcoal.
4.2.2. It thus encompasses planting trees and vegetation to control soil erosion
caused by wind and water. Trees and vegetation are critical for the ecosystem's survival.
They also serve as a haven for most insects, birds, and some symbiotic plants. This
creates a habitat for wildlife, thus also preserving wildlife in general.
IV. Strategies and Implementation

4.3. Environmental Protection

4.3.1.: Your actions frequently have an impact on others. Look for opportunities to
volunteer in your community, such as picking up trash in your neighborhood or participating in
community clean-up events. Volunteering is communicable; tell your loved ones about how
you made a difference in the world to motivate them to do the same.

4.3.2.: Gardening organic kitchen waste scraps in a soil container that encourages
crop growth can also assist in soil regeneration. It also keeps greenhouse gases like
hydrocarbons out of the atmosphere.
4.4. Land Development
4.4.1.: Surface cover is an important factor in coastal protection because it reduces
the impact of raindrops on bare soils and wind removing soil particles. It also slows the flow of
water across the land.

4.4.2.: Trees are frequently regarded as the universal solution to soil erosion control.
Tree roots help prevent landslides and stream bank erosion on steep slopes, but they do not
stop erosion on moderately sloping hillslopes.
4.5. Construction of Structures
4.5.1.:Spun concrete poles are engineered to provide consistent strength, unrivaled
durability, and long service life. Prestressed 7-wire strands, deformed reinforcing bars,
galvanized helical reinforcing wire, and high-strength concrete is used to make poles.

4.5.2. : Damping systems built into buildings act as shock absorbers in earthquakes.
That is, by applying heavy weight to the top of a building and connecting it to dampers, the
severity of vibrations is reduced.

V. Scheduling of Activities
5.1. Waste Reduction
5.1.1. Weekly Activity
5.1.2. An everyday encouragement to do
5.2. Conservation of Natural Resources
5.2.1. If applicable to switch; everyday use
5.2.2.:Every 2 weeks of the month, will held a Go Green Program, a tree planting
program,.
5.3. Environmental Protection
5.3.1. Weekly gathering in Barangay Halls
5.3.2. Everyday Activity for Families
5.4. Land Development
5.4.1. A Monthly Checking of the Soil and Re-enforcing
5.4.2. Every 2 weeks of the month, will held a Go Green Program, a tree planting
program,

5.5. Construction of Structures

5.5.1. Monthly checking of the stability of Electric Posts

VII. Assessment of Strategies/Effectiveness of the Plan

Evaluating whether an identified gap or nonconformity has been effectively addressed

is one of the steps in completing the action plan. Assessing the efficacy of the action(s)
taken to address a gap or nonconformity closes the loop between identifying a problem and
completing the steps to solve it. It is reasonable to assume that if a problem is significant
enough to solve, it is also essential to ensure that the solution is effective. To test the
effectiveness of the developed document, give the procedure to a staff member to see if
they can perform the tasks outlined in the document, including completion of forms, using
only the information available in the document

The initial statement of the problem first from introduction should be reviewed for
accuracy and effectiveness; perhaps the situation has changed. The adequacy of available
resources to carry out the plan should be assessed.
