Save Mother Earth

for our Future

1
Save Mother Earth for our Future
OBJECTIVES:
 To save our Mother Earth
 To protect our environment
 To conserve a healthy environment for future generations to
come
 Restore degraded forest, woodland, grassland, and wetland
habitats
 To encourage people of all classes, levels, and areas to work
in saving our Mother Earth

PLAN:
 Plant more Trees
In our community, we should plant tree to save Mother Earth
for our future. Trees are the most important source of
oxygen, as they absorb carbon dioxide and provide us with
clean, fresh air to breathe. They also help to reduce ozone
layers in the atmosphere, minimize noise pollution, and
provide a variety of fruits and flowers that gives us benefits.
Furthermore, trees help to reduce storm water runoff,
reducing erosion and pollution in our waterways, it
also helps to mitigate the impacts of flooding .  Many wildlife
species rely on trees as a source of food and shelter. Many
birds and creatures call it home. Trees will greatly aid in the
preservation of our natural resources.

 Reduse,Reuse,Recycle
a) Reduse
Also known as the best way to keep the environment
clean, decreasing simply means producing less garbage,
which equals less rubbish to clean up. There are various
methods to put this concept into practice in our daily lives,
including:

1) Instead of buying bottled water, use a reusable water

bottle.
2) Bring reusable bags to the grocery store.

2
3) Minimize food waste by planning ahead. By preparing in
advance, you are able to know the exact amount of food you
will eat for the next days and thus, minimizes food waste.

b) Reuse
Reusing is the process of finding a new use for
materials that would otherwise be discarded. Here are a few
examples:

1. Passing outgrown clothes or shoes to other

people or children who could still fit in them.
2. Share toys which are no longer of use.

c) Recycle
Recycling is the conversion of waste materials into new
products in order to reduce the use of raw materials. At
home, you can recycle waste in a variety of methods,
including:

1. Converting used plastic bottles into plant

containers, watering tool for gardening, or as a
vessel for ingredients.
2. Composting food waste for gardening.
3. Reusing newspaper as a packaging for fragile
items in your house or as a cleaning aid by
mixing water and a splash of white vinegar to
clean window stains.
4. Composting food waste for gardening.

 Educate
Environmental awareness is an important component
of our daily life. To ensure the planet's long-term viability,
everyone must commit to becoming more ecologically
conscious. Environmental degradation is harmful to animals,
plants, and humans, jeopardizing their long-term health and
security. There is no doubt that human activity is a major
contributor to environmental degradation.

 Volunteer
Participate in community cleaning activities as a volunteer.
Participating in a neighborhood cleanup with your neighbors can
be a great way to raise awareness in your community and
establish the framework for future waste-reduction efforts. A

cleanup can also create a sense of belonging and responsibility for
keeping our homes and public spaces safe and clean. A cleaning
might cover a small area, such as an intersection or a block, or it
can attempt to cover an entire city neighborhood, depending on
the number of volunteers and the amount of coordination.
