LAC SESSION EMCEE SCRIPT

INTRODUCTION
Good morning my dear fellow teachers. I am Joanna Mae Avila, Grade 4 Teacher,
and your emcee for today’s Training. Welcome to this year 3 days In-Service
Training for Teachers in New Normal with the theme: Innovative Teachers Make
Difference. It’s the time of year once again – it’s sem-break for some but for us it’s
another journey of professional development and hopefully a fun-filled and
worthwhile experience. This training/seminar is somewhat a refresher course for us
and a perfect opportunity for us to keep ourselves updated of the educational trends.

Remember, you can’t give what you don’t have so if you want to give more to your
students and to further your commitment in teaching, attending the inset today might
just actually be a right decision.

NATIONAL ANTHEM, PRAYER, HYMN

Since this event is deemed significant, let us officially commence our gathering
today by the singing of our National Anthem through audio visual presentation to be
led by Sir Marlon Cadelina, Grade 3 Teacher followed by a prayer by Mam Ma. Elisa
S. Genabe, Kindergarten Teacher and the Audio-Visual presentation of
CALABARZON, Mabuhay Rizal, and Antipolo Hymn.

CHECKING OF ATTENDANCE

And to check the attendance of our dear participants, May I call in Mam Roseann A.
Pantua, Kindergarten teacher.

Thank you, Mam Anne.

WELCOME REMARKS

To affirm the significance of this event, let us hear the words of welcome from our
very beautiful, very active and supportive school head none other than Ma’am
Evangeline C. Panahon. Let us all give her a virtual applause.

Thank you very much Mam Vangie for your warm message.

INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE

Let us hear another inspirational message to be given to us by our very supportive

PSDS Ma’am Jocelyn A. Perez.
Thank you so much Ma’am Jocelyn for a very powerful and inspiring message and
for graciously reaching out to us today despite your hectic schedules.

ORIENTATION NORMS

We are wrapping up our opening program with some reminders for our participants.
We always mean business when we attend trainings like this and while we fully trust
ourselves to behave properly for the whole duration of the training, let us keep in
mind these norms.

To give us the orientation norms for this training, May I call in Mam Sarah Mae
Fuentes, Grade 1 Teacher.
Thank you, Ma’am Sarah.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Now, we know what we came here for. If someone would ask us why we are here,
our ready answer would be to attend the training/seminar but specifically what do
you think are our goals of being here today? Well, if you’re not sure yet, let’s listen
and be guided as our very own Grade 6 teacher Ma’am Juvy F. Galupo, gives us the
statement of purpose.

Thank you, Ma’am Juvy.

So, let us bear in mind that we came here today not as teachers or facilitators but as
learners.

And now, we proceed to the Training Proper of this training.

Our first speaker for this morning, is one of the beautiful and active teachers of
PESA Annex, and a very industrious Grade 6 Teacher none other than Ma’am Juvy
F. Galupo to share to us her expertise about Teaching Strategies in Reading.

Let us give her a virtual applause.

Our second speaker for this morning, is one of the beautiful and active teachers of
