The professor made several points regarding the notion that R.

robustus
is an active hunter of dinosaurs which was contradicted by the reading.
Both the reading and lecture show two opposing views for this notion.
Firstly, the passage claims that this kind of mammal was very small in
size. It was about the size of a domestic cat. It argued that this mammal
could not have eaten a psittacosaurs because of the size difference.
However, the lecture states that this mammal could have eaten baby
dinosaurs. This is because this mammal had twice the weight of the
baby dinosaur.
Secondly, the passage asserts that the legs of the R. robustus were short
and positioned on the sides. This causes them to run at a slower pace
than the prey. On the other hand, the lecture disagrees by illustrating
the example of the devil hunter. It argued that although it had short and
positioned legs on the sides, it still could run very fast and catch the
prey.
Thirdly, the passage states that the prey found on the stomach had no
signs of teeth or other hunting marks. It argued that usually prey should
have signs of attack. The lecture contrast this by stating that this kind of
mammal did not use his back-teeth when he hunted other animals.
This is since this mammal usually swallowed his prey and not chew it
