JOB DESCRIPTION

Certification, Monitoring and Evaluation (CME) Officer

SCOPE OF THE POSITION

Under the supervision of Indonesia Country Sustainability Manager, the Certification Monitoring
and Evaluation (CME) is responsible to conduct monitoring of program activities, compile all
program data, analyzing and develop program evaluation for continuous improvement as JB
Cocoa and Partners expected. The CME will assist field team on data collection methodology
and in preparing quarterly and annual report. This position is based in Central Sulawesi and in
the framework of the Responsible Cocoa Program in Central Sulawesi and its future scale up in
other regions of Indonesia.

TASKS

Data Management, Monitoring and Evaluation

 Implement program monitoring and evaluation mechanism as program management


required;
 Conduct field monitoring, data checking to all clusters regularly or other assigned area;
 Compiled all program data such as demographic farmer’s data, polygon mapping, cocoa
farm data, cocoa sales data and other data related program;
 Develop and conduct data analysis as required;
 Cross checking farmers and farm accuracy data included farm mapping through polygon;
 Maintain and provide data and information of program results and KPI;
 Monitor and evaluate overall achievement of program results;
 Based on data analysis, evaluation and assessments, provide adaptations and
improvement on approaches, methodologies and program activities.

Reporting

 Fulfil customer requirements in terms of data and KPI


 Assist Country Sustainability Manager on providing quarterly and annual report;
 Provide monthly briefly Sustainability update;

Communication and Coordination

 Closely communication and coordination of data management with data service provider
and customer or other data services;
 Closely communication and coordination with program implementation team partner and
support on related topic;

Certification

 Coordinate global certification activities: Documents, recordings, traceability, field


implementation and audits (internal and external);
 Communicate and coordinate activities with field team, data service provider and
certification body.
