is the electric flux due to these charges through a sphere of radius ‘3a’ with its centre at the
origin?

strings of equal length. What would be the effect on the force when a plastic sheet is inserted
between the two?

3. A and B are two conducting spheres of the same radius A being solid and B hollow. Both are 1

change in its resistance.

12. In a metre bridge, the balance point is found to be at 39.5 cm from the end A, when the resistor Y 2
is of 12.5 ohm. Determine the resistance of X. Why are the connections between resistors in a
metre bridge made of thick copper strips? What happens if the galvanometer and cell are
interchanged at the balance point of the bridge? Would the galvanometer show any current?
