The configuration without attachment or side walls generally serves as the base, enabling commercial customers to attach a transport container /
To obtain a total transport volume of 1 m3 (1,000 litres), we recommend also using a trailer, e.g. the Hinterher HXXL (with all models with a volume of more than 225 litres)
or the Hinterher HXXXL (with all models with a volume of up to 225 litres).

Disclaimer
Riese & Müller accepts no liability for the trailer, trailer coupling and correct assembly.
Furthermore, Riese & Müller accepts no liability for the safety on the road of the loaded bike and trailer combination.
Riders are required to check the road safety of their loaded bike and trailer combination before setting off. The follow-
ing aspects, among others, must be checked:
1. Is the load secured in such a way that it cannot slip or tip over? The load must remain secured in all riding situations
or even in the event of an accident.
2. Is the centre of gravity low enough? Riders must be able to securely hold the Cargo Bike. If the centre of gravity is
too high, the trailer could tip over when cornering.
3. Is the area exposed to the wind such that any gusts of wind will not present a problem?
4. Is the proposed route suitable for the bike and trailer combination? Narrow sections, hazard areas (e.g. car traffic)
or inadequate road conditions (road holding, high bumps/kerbs, potholes, etc.) must be avoided when planning your
route.
5. Is the topography suitable? Steep sections of road should be avoided. Only a maximum uphill gradient is possible,
depending on the load, and steep descents could overheat the brakes.
Riders then need to adapt their riding behaviour to the load and traffic situation. Heavy loads and unbraked trailers
lengthen the braking distance; the load and trailer alter the behaviour of the bike when cornering and slaloming,
which is why riders must adapt their speed accordingly.
