Sub: Fees Circular for Jul-Nov 2022 Semester – reg.

INSTITUTE FEE:

 All Students / Scholars (Hostellers & Dayscholars) are required to pay the Institute
fees as per the fee portal https://pay.iitm.ac.in/fees/tuitionfee.aspx. Last Date to
pay Institute Fee – 30th September 2022. After this date, a late fee will be leived.

 A provision will be made by end of this month to pay the fees dues, if any, pertaining
to previous semesters.

If the transaction fails and money is deducted from your account, then please wait 3 to 5 working days for
money to be credited back to your account. If the money is not credited automatically, then contact accounts
section at accounts@iitm.ac.in with your Roll number, Name and Transaction ID.

 M.Tech 2022 batch need not pay any fees for Jul-Nov 2022 semester
 M.Sc 2022 batch after adjusting the seat acceptance fee have to pay
Rs.8250/- (GE,OBC,EWS) and Rs.10250/- (SC,ST,PwD)

NS - Non-Statutory fees
- a) SC/ST/PwD students are exempted from payment of tuition fee irrespective of their parental income.
- b) GE, OBC-NCL, EWS students whose family income is less than Rs.1 lakh per annum) shall get full remission of the
fee.
+ - c) GE, OBC-NCL, EWS students whose family income is less than Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakhs per annum) shall get remission
of 2/3rd of the tuition fee.
- d) All the students shall have access to interest free loan under Vidyalaxmi scheme for the total portion of the tuition fee
payable
- Dual Degree students have to pay B.Tech. fees for the first 8 semesters and M.Tech. fees for 9 th & 10th semesters
