Copies of the document were discovered in the possession of multiple free mortals
and hereunto unknown Caitiff, who were also each in the possession of extensive body
modifications clearly created by the use of Clan Tzimisce’s Vicissitude.

The document - a catalogue of sorts - appears to advertise a range of physical

alterations in exchange for cash sums, in the same fashion as modern mortal plastic
surgeons distribute to potential clients.

All patrons of the ‘Surgeon(s)’ have been summarily destroyed due to the severity
of the Masquerade-breaching nature of their alterations, their close contacts have been
interviewed, and their homes searched. An official global blood hunt for the individual
or individuals responsible has been called, and once their official identity is discovered,
a motion shall be put forward to have them added to the Red List, with Tremere as the
Trophy Clan.

Bastard Crafts
In post-modern nights, the noble arts of flesh-crafting
still persist strongly amongst every member of the Clan
of Shapers, in addition to members of other Clans who
have adopted the craft. The artistry and complexity
of the Discipline however has long since shifted and
changed - much like the regality of our kind - to reflect
the world in which we now live. This catalogue is
a collection of unique modifications made by an
entrepreneurial team of Surgeons who refuse to adhere
to traditional dogmatic methodology.
System: The entries include the required
level of Vicissitude for creation, the permanent
reduction in appearance such a change wreaks,
the time required to perform the modification,
a description of the transformation process, and
the system behind each surgery. With Appearance
changes, players may either simply reduce
Appearance as stated to a minimum of 0 as used
by Nosferatu in V20 ( if the Storyteller is using
The Endless Death, Volume One, an equivalent
Abhorrence increase is supplied.)
Spring-Summer Collection
Ca-ffeine-theter
Kine Friendly: No.

Vicissitude Rating: 2
Many Surgeons of our Clan genuinely enjoy spending
time at the table with mortals, from the elder Voivodate
hosting grand banquets with local dignitaries to month
old thin-bloods trying to keep up with mortal loved ones
in a café. Pretending not to be hungry enough for food
is easy enough, but refusing to drink over a several hour
long meeting raises many eyebrows more so with those
who are close to the Shaper.
To circumvent such a social faux pas the Surgeon
may open the customers throat and knead the upper
oesophageal sphincter to include two outlets rather than
one. He then stretches the separating membranes within
her throat to create a long watertight bladder stretching
down into her chest cavity. Finally he draws in the
smaller neck muscles to clamp the bladder in place, able
to contract the bladder to purge it at will.
Spring-Summer Collection
Appearance Changes: The recipient loses 1 dot
of Appearance or gains 1 point of Abhorrence
whenever the bladder is full.
Surgery Time: 6 hours (minus 30 minutes per
dot in Body Crafts).
Procedure System: The Shaper must spend 2
blood points and roll Dexterity + Body Crafts
twice (difficulty 8 then 6).
Feature System: If successful the customer gains
a limited version of the eat food merit, allowing
her to consume 1 pint of liquid. She must roll
Wits + Athletics (difficulty 6) when using this new
bladder to consume and store liquid.
Failure sends the liquid to her stomach and
forces her to expel it, a while botch causes 2 levels
of unsoakable lethal damage as the muscles shred
the bladder to pieces. Expelling the bladder’s
contents requires no roll but does take one turn
of concentration.
I-Hand
Kine Friendly: Yes (though they will only have one
cranial eye).

Vicissitude Rating: 1 or 2
So much interaction between mortals occurs across
the internet in the post-modern nights that, for some,
meeting face to face is seen as ‘old fashioned’. To
keep up with this trend and still keep up with nightly
activities the Shaper has the option to remove one of his
customer’s eyeballs making sure to extract as much of
the optic nerve as possible.
He then hollows out a crevice within her thumb’s
thenar muscle. Inside the crevice he wires the optic
nerve up to the median nerve, finally inserting the
eyeball into its new housing and closing the flesh around
it to grip the organ tightly, but not as to restrict vision.
Appearance Changes: No changes to
Appearance.
Surgery Time: 5 minutes/5 minutes/ 2 hours
(minus 30 minutes per dot in Body Crafts to a
minimum of 10 minutes).
Procedure System: The Surgeon must remove
the eye, spend 1 blood point, and roll Dexterity +
Body Crafts (difficulty 8).

 Feature System: If successful, the customer
gains an additional line of sight through the palm
of her hand which counts as having an Alertness
rating equal to half the character’s own (rounding
up). Using this eye she may operate a smartphone
without needing to face it. Alternatively, she may
use the I-Hand as a periscope, to view around
corners, or observe her surroundings while her
other eyes are obscured.
Fands

Vicissitude Rating: 3
Many mortals spend years learning how to type one
handed, but a Surgeon may simply alter the palm width
and provide the same effect in a matter of hours! After
fastening the customer’s arm in place, the Shaper splits
her hand lengthways either side of the middle finger.
He contorts the ring and index fingers into L shapes
pointing away from the middle digit, and finally kneads
the cartridge to fill in the added space between her
bones. Once the reconstruction is complete, the surgeon
stretches her palm skin to reform the hand and finish
the procedure.
Appearance Changes: The victim loses 2 levels
of Appearance or gains 1 level of Abhorrence.
Surgery Time: 2 hours (minus 10 minutes per
dot in Body Crafts).
Procedure System: The Surgeon spends 1
blood point and rolls Strength + Body Crafts
(difficulty 6).
Feature System: The customer is able to type on
computers and laptops one handed as efficiently
as she had done with two prior to the procedure.
Additionally, the hand can flex around a mobile
phone to give greater capacity for typing, halving
the time required to send messages or write
memos on such a device.

Vicissitude Rating: 1 or 2.
Many Shapers of the post-modern nights have shed

the technophobia held to so strongly by most elders,
grasping onto the marvellous benefits today’s devices
hold, particularly mobile phones.
To free the hands while using a mobile phone the
Shaper can remove the distal phalanges (finger tips)
from each of his customer’s fingers, making sure to keep
the cartilage intact. Kindred may regenerate the lost
tips, while he keeps her detached ones on ice. Following
removal, he must shred the skin and temporalis muscle
surrounding her ear to create connective tissue. Finally,
he joins each tip to her head in a ring around her ear,
tethering the fingers to conjoining muscle in order to
give them limited flexibility and grip. She may place a
mobile phone in this receptacle during a call, and keep
her hands free for other activities.
Appearance Changes: No changes to
Appearance.
Surgery Time: 1 minute/5 minutes
regeneration time/1 hour construction time.
Procedure System: The Shaper must cut off
the victim’s fingertips, spend 1 blood point, and
rolling Dexterity + Body Crafts (difficulty 7).
Feature System: Once complete, the customer
may hold a phone by her ear and answer calls
without having to use her hands. The difficulty
for mortality to notice this modification is
reduced to 3 from 5 plus his successes, unless his
hair or head wear is sufficient to hide it.
Nape-Sack / Pack-Back
Kine Friendly: Yes.
Cost: $400
Vicissitude Rating: 1 or 2
If ever a customer is without means of transporting
ancient tomes or a discreet weapon while traveling
the streets, a simple alteration to the skin around her
neck and back more than facilitates for it. He cuts the
nape of her neck and stretches the skin to make an
enlarged cavity. He then melds the skin pack around a
split section of his trapezius muscle to create a closing
entrance.
With this, the customer can stretch open the mouth of
her nape in order to store objects within the cavity and
close the mouth like a duffel bag by simply tensing his
back.
 Appearance Changes: The character loses
1 level of Appearance while her shirt is off or
increases her Abhorrence by 1.
Surgery Time: 30 minutes (minus 5 minutes
per dot of Body Crafts)
Procedure System: The Shaper spends 1 blood
point and rolls Dexterity + Body Crafts (difficulty
5).
Feature System: His customer may store an
object or collection of object with combined
volume of 5 litres or one gallon, this is roughly
the equivalent of 2 pairs of shoes, a sawn-off
shotgun, 3 a5 books, or a regular house cat.
Padding
Kine Friendly: No.

Clothing can be such an irritating convention to
keep up with in post-modern nights, particularly finding
clothing that fits when cultural expectations can flip
from favouring small or skinny frames to large or
muscular frames in as little as fifty years. The Shaper
may remove some of his victim’s lung tissue, separating
it into twelve alveoli: six from each lung. From there, he
splits and stretches her bronchial tubes out to run the
length of each limb and into down her abdomen, ending
each tube with an air sack. Finally, he seals each stretch
of sectioned skin to finish the modification. By breathing
in and holding her breath, the customer can double her
apparent weight to pad out any available clothing so as
to not make any further changes to fit into new clothing.
Appearance Changes: The customer loses 1
dot of Appearance whenever she swells whilst
naked due to the irregular distribution. This
modification is never viewed as supernaturally
inhuman by mortals.
Surgery Time: 2 nights (minus 1 hour per dot
in Body Crafts).
Procedure System: The Shaper spends 2 blood
points and makes a Strength + Body Crafts roll
(difficulty 7) to stretch the bronchial tubes and
join the alveoli with the tube outlets.
Feature System: With this modification, his
customer can fit into clothes up to 5 sizes larger

than herself at any time by simply breathing in,
though doing so restricts her vocal range, applying
a -1 dice pool penalty to Charisma rolls.
Poker Face
Kine Friendly: Yes.

Some older vampires irrationally fear espionage
or conspiracy and so would make great use of this
modification,
Kindred Embraced in the post-modern nights make
use of this modification to earn great wealth during
live gambling. The Surgeon - preferably using a needle
or bone shard - removes a strand of the Achilles’ tendon
and weaves it through each of his subject’s sub-dermal
facial nerves. Next, he expands the tip of her trapezius
muscle and merges both ends of the thread into it. With
a simple and subtle muscle spasm, the customer is able
to dislocate and relocate her facial nerves, deadening
her facial muscles and making cold reading nearly
impossible.
Appearance Changes: No passive Appearance
change.
Surgery Time: 80 minutes (minus 10 minutes
per dot in Body Crafts).
Procedure System: The Shaper spends 1 blood
point and rolls Dexterity + Body Crafts (difficulty
8).
Feature System: At any point the customer can
make a Strength + Expression roll (difficulty 6)
to detach her facial nerves. This halves her own
Expression and Performance Abilities (rounding
up) and increases the difficulty of any rolls
made against her to determine her emotions,
intentions, or lies made by +3.
Rain Coat
Kine Friendly: No.
Cost: $2300
Vicissitude Rating: 2
Rain can be as detrimental to a vampire as any
mortal, ruining her night and her look in one downpour.
Through intestinal extraction, a Surgeon can remove
and expand enough of a customer’s stomach and

intestinal lining she may, through one use of the Blush
of Life, activate to create a slick raincoat across her
body. The Shaper removes the vampires entire intestinal
tract from the stomach up to the sphincter. This is then
sectioned and meshed together to create a large sheet of
fabric, which is used to construct the Rain Coat one
clothing size larger than his customers frame.
Once the coat is finished, the skin surrounding the
base of the customers skull is opened and expanded then
melded with the equivalent area of the coat’s lining -
NOT THE MUCOSAL EXTERNAL LAYER. With
this, the finished coat can be tucked into her neck skin
- much the same as the Pack-Back modification we offer
- and extracted when needed, the vampire need only pull
the coat from her neck and drape over her body while
using Blush of Life to become water resistant.
Appearance Changes: The vampire loses 1 level
of Appearance but does not gain Abhorrence
while the coat is retracted. While wearing the
coat, the vampire loses 3 levels of Appearance or
gains 3 levels of Abhorrence.
Surgery Time: 4 hours (minus 30 minutes per
dot in Crafts particularly ).
Procedure System: The Shaper spends 1 blood
point and rolls Dexterity + Body Crafts (difficulty
8).
Feature System: After unfurling the coat, the
vampire spends 10 (minus his road rating) blood
points to activate the blush of life. The coat
creates intestinal mucus which repels any water
impact, keeping her hair and clothes completely
dry while needing no extraneous clothing to
achieve.
Saloon Shoulders
Kine Friendly: Yes.
Cost: $1500
Vicissitude Rating: 3
Hunting mortals is the bread and butter of Kindred
life, for post-modern vampires, hunting through
bustling city streets can be taxing and tiresome. Too
many mortals passing by can slow her down, stir her
Beast, and make her lose sight of her mark. A simple
modification cures this problem. The clavicle, pelvis,
and each rib are gradually snapped at their bases while
cartilage is kneaded into the shattered section, after

which the bones are rejoined in their new, dislocated
positions to create opposable joints. This straightforward
operation grants the customer a feline flexibility to her
movement, allowing her to slip through large crowds,
dense woodland, and even heaving bars.
Appearance Changes: The Vampire loses 1
permanent level of Appearance or gains 1 level of
Abhorrence, either is increased to 2 during the
few seconds she physically squeezes through gaps.
Surgery Time: 4 hours (minus 20 minutes per
dot in Body Crafts).
Procedure System: The Shaper spends 1 blood
point and rolls Strength + Body Crafts (difficulty
7) to crack her bones into new joint formations.
Feature System: Following this treatment the
customer is able to slip through the densest city
crowds and other cramped conditions, and may
fit through gaps no wider than a quarter of her
physical width.
Skeleton Key
Kine Friendly: Yes.
Cost: $800
Vicissitude Rating: 3
Keys are dangerous, locks are secure but keys can
be stolen from anyone and used without the customer
knowing. By revitalising the old Skeleton Key concept
with a touch of Surgeon innovation, customers will
never need clunky key rings again!
Flay and shatter one half the fifth distal phalanges
(finger tip) keeping the bone shards for later, remove the
nail and take some strips of muscle from the lumbrical
muscles (at the bottom of the finger.
Combine the small bone shards with the strips of
muscle and overlay them on the exposed fingertip
marrow using cartilage from the nearby joints. Finally,
sew in the near by median nerve and deaden the flayed
skin to make a obfuscating sheath. Now the bone will
have numerous ‘teeth’ to detract in the correct sequence
to release the tumblers of a lock, doing away with old-
fashioned keys.
REMEMBER: This modification does not work for
car keys, the customer will be electrocuted on contact
with the vehicles inner wiring pumping 14 volts of
power into his finger.

Surgery Time: 3 hours (minus 30 minutes per
dot in Body Crafts).
Procedure System: The Shaper spends 1 blood
point and rolls Dexterity + Body Crafts (difficulty
6).
Feature System: The modification provides the
customer with the ability to pick locks at any time
regardless of his equipment and adds 1 dice per
success to subsequent Dexterity + Larceny rolls
during attempts at picking locks. If performed to
wire a car the player receives 1 unsaokable level of
aggravated damage, see electrocution rules in V20
page 295.
Stomach Pump
Kine Friendly: No.
Cost: $600
Vicissitude Rating: 1 or 2
In the post-modern nights, vehicles run on petroleum
- without this substance the car will not move or even
start! If a vampire wishes to trap her prey with no
means of escape she may siphon out this liquid with
her own body to prevent their escape, more discreet
tampering than structural damage or slashing the tyres.
The Shaper simply opens his customer’s abdomen,
detaches her stomach, and massages the muscles
running along her large intestine in order to expand
and tighten them. With the hose crafted, her twists her
abdominal muscles and seals the flesh to make a mouth
in which to contain the siphon. She may now dunk her
intestine into a fuel tank, a water tower, or the glass of
some asshole in a bar, to quickly empty its contents out
on the floor through her anus.
Some vampires have such sphincter control that they
hold onto the fuel and use it to ignite the doorway of
their target’s residence, smoking them out like rabbits
with no further means of escape. See this process as a
form of colonic chemical irrigation!

Spring-Summer Collection
Procedure System: The Shaper spends 2
blood points, and rolls Strength + Body Crafts
(difficulty 5) then Dexterity + Body Crafts
(difficulty 7).
Feature System: Following this procedure
the Cainite may make a Willpower roll to
begin siphoning, and must roll for each act of
siphoning, failure results in 1 level of automatic
bashing damage, while botches cause 1 level of
automatic lethal damage and prevents further use
that night.
By spending a temporary Willpower point she
may keep her anus tight enough to retain the
petrol, holding the flammable liquid in reserve to
place at her convenience.
“You’ll Get Square Eyes”
Kine Friendly: Yes.
Cost: $400
Vicissitude Rating: 1
If time spent staring at a computer screen is a vital
part of the vampires unlife: or she’s antiquated and
read books all night, she may change her perception
ratio to gain as much peripheral vision as she has
directional vision. The Shaper uses two thick steel
needles to stretch four corners into the customer’s
pupils, changing them from circles to squares like those
of a goat. The corner areas of her iris will need to be
thickened so as to retain their dilatory tension. This
allows the vampire to see around the book or screen just
as well as they see the screen or book proper.
Appearance Changes: This modification
reduces the Shapers Appearance permanently by
2 or increases her Abhorrence by 2.
Surgery Time: 10 minutes (minus 1 minute per
dot in Body Crafts)
Procedure System: The vampire simply
rolls Dexterity + Body Crafts (difficulty 6) and
spends 1 blood point to alter the customer’s iris
distribution.
Feature System: The customer receives a
Perception + Awareness roll when approached
during an activity (difficulty 6). If she is
successful, she notices her advancer from any
direction, regardless of her visual range.

Rollerbones
Kine Friendly: No.

WARNING: THIS FEATURE REQUIRES
ONE MONTH OF PHYSICAL THERAPY
POST SURGERY.
Walking is quite literally too pedestrian for higher
beings such as ourselves; in place of cumbersome feet
a surgeon can give his customer a far smoother way to
travel.
He removes the feet entirely, hollowing out the ankle
joints to create a ball socket. Using the waste feet
he kneads the bone into two balls with 5-inch-wide
diameters. He removes additional synovium from a
secondary joint and adds it to the new ball socket, to
create additional synovial fluid lubrication, and fastens
each ball into the respective socket.
Finally, the calf muscle tendons are stretched around
the new ball joint’s ligaments to provide contracting and
relaxing control over each ball, then the skin is rolled
and sealed to hide the new joint but still leaving the
ball exposed.
Appearance Changes: The vampire loses 2
permanent level of Appearance or gains 2 levels of
Abhorrence.
Surgery Time: 3 hours (minus 10 minutes per
dot of Body Crafts).
Procedure System: First the Surgeon rolls
Strength + Crafts (difficulty 6) to reshape the
bone and then Dexterity + Body Crafts to alter
the ligaments, spending a blood point for each
roll.
Feature System: The vampire may double her
natural running and walking speeds, and adds
+2 dice when rolling to traversing rough terrain
such as rocky crags. Her natural swimming speed,
however, is halved with the removal of her feet.
