1. What is the purpose of breathing!

= Breathing is one of the basic functions needed by humans to maintain life. This physiological process
aims to provide oxygen intake for the body's metabolic needs and remove carbon dioxide that is not
needed by the body.

2. What is the process of breathing !

= Air enters through the nose and mouth and passes through the process of filtering small particles by
nasal hairs, and then into the trachea or windpipe. Air from the trachea enters the lungs through a series
of branches in the lungs called bronchi and bronchioles, then ends in the alveoli.

3. What are the tose tiny air sacs for?

= exchange of two gases, namely oxygen and carbon dioxide in the respiratory system. When it reaches
the alveolus, oxygen will be circulated throughout the body through the blood and carbon dioxide will
be expelled through the breath you exhale.

4. What do the sacs do?

=There is an exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide for storage throughout the body through the blood.

5. How does the oxygen/ waste exchange work!

= When air reaches the alveolus, there is an exchange process between oxygen and carbon dioxide in
tiny blood vessels called capillaries. Oxygen enters the capillaries, then rides red blood cells to the heart
to be distributed throughout the body.

6. What happens to the carbon dioxide!

= This gas is bound to red blood cells and transported to the lungs, where it is exhaled. In the body, the
circulatory system will distribute oxygen and nutrients to all body tissues and then transport metabolic
waste or waste substances from cells and tissues to be removed from the body. One of these waste
substances is carbon dioxide

7. Find the terms of lung usually use in nursing area!

= -pulmo, -pneumonia
