USE OF THE UVC DEVICES

Ex: klebssiella, wall molds, human seasonal flu, tuberculosis, chicken pox, E coli,
Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, etc., SARS CoV-2, have various doses necessary for their
elimination/destruction, so each device needs to be chosen accordingly the space in the room,
the humidity and temperature conditions in the room, air volume, if they want to be used in the
presence/absence of the staff, the duration of disinfection, etc.

Types of devices:
1. Air disinfection used IN THE PRESENCE OF STAFF (fixed/mobile, with/without
motorization, with accessories: remote control, time counter, presence sensor, etc.)

1.1 FIXED open devices

- !!!It is mounted on the wall at a safe height -min 2.2 m - and creates a blanket of UVC
light in a horizontal plane parallel to the ceiling, the disinfection being done permanently,
through the natural convection of the air.
Advantages: They have high efficiency due to the aeromicroflora tests, with low consumption
(they do not have fans in their component), they are made for 24/7 use because the air must be
disinfected continuously, it is permanently contaminated, from the first opening of the window,
the door, the presence of a new person, etc.
Disadvantages: They are fixed, cannot be installed in rooms with a ceiling lower than 2.3m
How to choose: Depending on the dimensions of the room, the distances between the walls,
the bulky objects attached to the ceiling, the reflective materials in the room, the air exchanges
(where applicable), etc.

1.2 Cassette devices - MOBILE and fixed

They can be used in the presence of the staff, even near the patient, the disinfection
taking place inside the box, equipped with a filter, UVC tubes, and fan.
Advantages: They have high mobility, being able to be used in several rooms, especially
in those where we can no longer drill holes to fix the fixed ones.
Disadvantages: The increase in air speed, to pass through the formed UVC blanket, indoors (as
is the case with this product) but also in the case of open lamps, leads to an increased time of
inactivation/destruction of pathogenic M.O. Therefore, the efficiency is lower than the fixed
LBAG model and they also have a little higher energy consumption (the presence of the fan)
1.3 SPECIAL AUTOMOBILE - AMBULANCE disinfection devices
They can be used especially to disinfect the air in vehicles, ambulances, helicopters, etc.
in the presence of the transported patient, reducing the amount of pathogens in the air.

Advantages: Only mobile devices can be used in the presence of people, if the light flow is oriented
