INVESTIGATORY PROJECT PROPOSAL

TITLE/ PRODUCT: Banana PseudoMasks
DESCRIPTION and ILLUSTRATION:
From the start of the pandemic, the supply of facemasks is not been enough for
all the people around the world. But now, we have sufficient supplies of facemasks that
affects our environment. There are used facemasks everywhere like the oceans, rivers,
and even every street of our city.
This project aims to minimize the facemask that is everywhere around the world.
It aims to promote natural products to help our environment. Since the facemasks that
people are usually using are non-biodegradable so, it is not easy to dissolve underwater
or in the forest.
In addition, this facemask is made of pseudostem or the stem of a banana tree. It
is a study of the banana stem as a biodegradable alternative for disposable face masks.
Also, it wants to help reduce plastic pollution that is made from the mask by creating an
eco-friendly mask out of banana waste, just like the banana’s stem (pseudostem)
Discovering and developing an environmentally friendly mask comprised of
pseudo-stem made of bananas that will reduce the production of plastic globally. The
research seeks to show that environmentally friendly face masks are superior to
conventional surgical face masks.
This study offers additional proof that using a product created using pseudo-
banana stem fiber. Additionally, the sample size used in this study was rather small, and
it was completed employing just one substitute substance.

INVESTIGATORY PROJECT PROPOSAL
TITLE/ PRODUCT: Organic Pesticide
DESCRIPTION and ILLUSTRATION:
Considering the environmental cost of chemical alternatives, natural pesticides
offer several advantages over synthetic ones and may be more economical total.
Natural insecticides degrade quickly, leaving little trace in the soil, and are less likely to
damage humans or animals.
More than half of our crops would be lost to pests and diseases without
insecticides. All farmers, even organic growers, use pesticides. Pesticides are utilized
by all farmers, whether they come from synthetic or natural sources. The difference is
that organic farmers are limited to using insecticides derived from plants.
Both natural and synthetic pesticides are effective at controlling pests. However,
their modes of action can differ greatly. They often result in a drastic difference in the
length of time it takes to see the intended results.
This idea is very common but, this group will make another way to make it easier
for people to make it on their own. This project can be used not by the farmers but also
by the plantitos and plantitas.
