PROBLEM
At least 50% of patients in the
intensive care unit need a ventilator.
In many developing countries like the
Philippines, there is only 1 ventilator
per 10 ICU beds which may result in an
unwanted increase in mortality rates.
The prohibitive cost of acquiring a
ventilator plus the inaccessibility of
spare parts when a ventilator breaks
down poses a challenge for small
hospitals to acquire more units.

CURRENT CUSTOMER SOLUTION
Currently, hospitals used imported
ventilators to aid the needs of patients
admitted to intensive care units. These
ventilators sense all variables that
define the breathing pattern with high
accuracy and adjust its action in real
time. It is achieve by combining cutting-
edge technology of actuators, sensors
and digital electronics together with
sophisticated data processing
algorithms.

both children and adults. It is
projected to cost 40% lower
than other portable ventilators
in the market. It is compact,
portable, and can be AC or DC
powered. It has embedded
software for self-diagnostic
cloud-based data analytic, with
protocols for operations and
trouble-shooting.

Instruments Pneuview Test prototypes of Ginhawa
Lung and animal (dog) studies Reliefvent, Field testing of 30
testing were done, proving its ventilators in 5 hospitals is
