    HOW TO OPERATE THIS MATRIX:


    1. For each functional area list out all the key
    areas/activities and arrange them in descending
    order of their strategic importance
    2. Compare the performance of each of these
    attributes with its key competitors, within its
    strategic group
    3. Your focus would now be in improving the
    performance of important areas/activities in each
    functional area (most of them lie in Box 1)
