DEFINING COMMUNITY

SUMMARY

Community refers to a grot of people sharing the same belief or culture. It could be a
group of people the same religion or with the same race .In a community people live,
work And play together. Aside from the geographical aspect a community is namely
about the common. The term community is used extensively in peer reviewed literature,
thought it is used differently by researchers across various discipline. Qualitative
analysis revealed 13 themes, some more common than other. Themes identified in the
literature review were also found in the focus groups discussion.

SYNTHESIS

The term community is used extensively in the peer reviewed literature, though it is
used differently by researchers across various discipline. A better understanding of
community, as an object of study, is needed to build inclusive communities. Qualitative
analysis revealed 13 themes, some more common than other. Focus group transcripts
were also analyzed. Themes identified in the literature review were also found in the
focus group discussion
REACTION

In my own perspective. Community is defined as an individual or a group that having a

common characteristics of attitude and goal . It is feeling with people to learned the
deeper meaning of community and creates a deeper understanding about it.
