Well, I just landed on dry land so now that my big ship sank I will have no problem with the

drowning in the ocean! I think that maybe I should find some good place to rest and get some

Hello everyone! My name is Captain Jack Sparrow, and I am here to announce that I am stealing

a ship from the harbor and then set sail to live my life as a pirate. We are in Port Royal, and we

can take control of one of their sailing ships right over there. I am not considering the fact that

you are all a bunch of drunk men, well enough, but under my command you will manage great

things as filthy pirates!! Oh, really is that so? You are really doubting my reputation and what am

I capable of?!! Do not make such a big mistake you drunk little girls, one thing is for sure and

that is that I am Captain Jack Sparrow, which means that I will be the only one to drink from the

Fountain of Paradise and become immortal! We should be going now, it is time to get our guns

and be ready to fight! First, we get a ship, then find our way to the Fountain, fight anyone against

us, get to the treasure and find the source of the Fountain. Anyway, first let me have a nice

breakfast! Lady, get some food and rum right now! There is nothing to worry about men, relax

and prepare to fight the British Empire! They say they protect people from pirates, but the only

thing they do is stealing for their own filthy pockets. We should never allow them to find the

Fountain first. I, captain Jack Sparrow will make sure of it and mark my words!
After writing and continuing the performance of Captain Jack Sparrow, I felt very excited and

amused by the feelings of how I imagined the character and myself playing it. This YouTube

video belongs to the entry of the first movie of Captain Jack Sparrow. I imagined of what should

I be doing after I set foot on Port Royal and how should I continue my plans in absence of

owning a ship. I imagined like if I really were Captain Jack Sparrow, what would I have done

after I stepped out of my sinking ship. I thought about piracy from a different point of view, like

I was an actual pirate and I was trying to thing what to do. Based on the film I intend to find the

Fountain of Paradise, but I have no crew nor a ship. Honestly, I did not think that performing

would give me such good vibes. Imaging what Captain Jack Sparrow, which I love as a

character, would do after he landed on Port Royal turned out to be amazing for me.

While I imagined myself as the captain, it looked to me like I was really him and started to really

feel the role and the act. I think that writing like my character made me realize how fascinating

can acting truly be and that I need to get emotionally more involved with acting in order to truly

feel its emotions. This writing assignment made me feel special because I thought the world from

the point of Captain Jack Sparrow’s view and it was like I got inside another dimension.

This would help me in understanding the characters that I perform better and more efficiently.

While imaging this character I felt closer to its role, because I was thinking exactly like I was a

real pirate. When you just think about being like an actor is different, while truly performing it is

something else. I think that I learned more about my character after imaging to be Jack Sparrow.

I learned that it is not easy to think like the real actor and that is why I should give more efforts

while performing in order to create a deeper connection with the character. It was actually very

fun as the most beautiful part was when I was acted like Captain Jack Sparrow loud. It took me
around fifteen minutes to perform this character loud as I practiced it many times. It is my

favorite character and I loved performing it.
