Operation Period: Always
Company Employment Limit: Within 20% of the number of Koreans (3
months old) enrolled in employment insurance
However, if you have foreign workers with E-7 qualifications, the number of
foreign workers will be deducted.
Employer Eligibility Criteria
- (Employer) A shipyard ship-related block manufacturing company with
annual average sales of 1 billion won or more over the past 3 years
+ 10 or more full-time workers + no violations of the law or defectors within
the last 2 years
- (Contracted wages for foreign employees) Companies that can pay at
least 80%* of the previous year's per capita gross national income(GNI)
*GNI in 2021: 80% of KRW 40.48 million = KRW 32.39 million

Qualifications for foreign employees

- Experience of more than 2 years (note the order. Regardless of the type
of business) after obtaining a shipbuilding welder license of intermediate
level or higher
