and   cleaning procedure for Vacuum Cleaner

1.0 AIM
To  provide  standard  operating  and   cleaning procedure for Vacuum Cleaner

2.0 SCOPE
Production Department.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
Workmen concerned/Production Supervisor concerned.

4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY
Production Executive.

6.0 PROCEDURE

6.1 OPERATION

a) Connect the wiring to electrical supply.

b) Direct  the  nozzle with required  attachment  toward  the surface to be

cleaned.

c) Switch ON the blower by pressing the switch button.

d) Carry out the cleaning as per requirement & switch OFF  the blower.

6.2 CLEANING

i) Detach the cleaning pipe from main body by lifting the knob upwards.
 ii) Clean the pipe with soap solution.

iii) Loosen the clamps of lid and main body of  cleaner  to remove the lid.

iv) Shake the bag vigorously to remove dust.

v) Remove the dust from main drum.

vi) Clean the drum and lid from inside.

vii) Then clean the cleaner from outside.

viii) Remove any fibers from sucking assembly of cleaner.

ix) Reassemble the instrument.

7.0 FREQUENCY
Daily.

8.0 RECLEANING PROCEDURE:

Clean  the machine from outside, if it is not used  for seven days.

9.0 REVIEW DATE

After 2 years or when procedure is changed.
