1. What was the sample concept paper all about?

The sample concept paper was all about the “Leveraging on Mobile Payment Methods to Gain
Competitive Advantage for Local based Businesses”. the concept paper tacked about how to make
mobile payment into the local business since mobile payment is one of the easiest and most
convenient way of how consumers purchase items nowadays. When we way local businesses, it
is usually located at remote areas and is hardly to operate mobile payments but the concept
paper is trying to view on how to ascertain and address the gap between big business using the
mobile payment into local businesses. The concept paper tackled different problems such as if
the mobile payment could help with the competitiveness of the local business to the big
businesses that are already using it.

2. Which gap was addressed by the author in the introduction?

The gap between the planned installation of information technology systems in local businesses
and the perceived limited uptake of mobile payment methods by locally based enterprises,
which are mainly functioning in local areas, was addressed by the author.

3. How does the author justify the need for such a study?

By having concrete evidence in the sense that the source of the need must be documented and
verifiable. It is also important to look at what other scholars have done on the concept previously,
and whether this is enough to answer the questions intended for the study. It is also important
to outline several studies that have been undertaken on the topical area summarizing their
conclusive evidence and relevance to the study area.
4. Is the background enough? Why or why not?

The study's background already provided in the sample concept paper is enough. When it
comes to length, it is already founded that a concept paper is merely the preamble to the actual
research study; thus, a brief background of its general information is one of the keys to making
it sufficient; key points were provided, as well as a summary of the literatures used as sources.
It also indicates that some research on the topic of interest has been conducted. However,
there is still a gap that needs to be filled, as shown in paragraph 2 sentence 4. The topic's
relevance and conclusive evidence have also been summarized.

5. What suggestions can you make to improve the concept paper further?

This concept paper is nearly perfect after thorough reading and evaluation, but there are a few
issues that need to be clarified regarding the type of data that should be acquired and the gap
that needs to be filled, both of which are significantly raised. Even though it is a really good
idea paper, the researcher may need to provide a bit more detail and objectivity to prevent
confounding the readers.
