What is hypertargeting?

Hypertargeting is a market strategy in which marketers provides facilities to the customers by

offering customizable products. To overcome the customers’ needs and requirements
according to their preferences. It is the act of delivering a digital advertising message to a
specific audience on specific qualifications and characteristics. It can also be done if your
market audience is niche or very defined.
It is about delivering content to the customers by advertising them in a specific target market.
By considering their preferences, and sending them highly relevant information about them.
By focusing on the characteristics of the audience age, gender etc. it also includes the
hobbies, interests, beliefs or the sentiments. As they are the essential factors to look upon
while doing hyper targeting.
Example,
Starbucks tracks or look upon the frequency of the purchases, preferences in both drinks and
food, if the purchases of the dairy drinks are relatively low than nondairy then he’ll hyper
target the customers who are allergic to dairy products and provide them the option to
customize their drinks and also provide them the alternate. Like coconut milk, or the patient
who are diabetic but still wants their drink to taste the sweetest we can give those customers
an option of the natural sweetener like stevia a natural herb.
