1. State the purpose of Abaquin’s “Prepare me Theory” and Laurente’s “Theory of Nursing
Practice and Career”.
 This idea offers a foundation for a non-pharmacologic, non-surgical
method of treating individuals with advanced cancer. The focus is on helping the patient
discover her humanity and inner calm in the face of life and death, not on providing a cure.
Theory of Nursing Practice and Career: She promoted using the patient's family as a point of
entry to aid them and emphasized effective communication in her idea of nursing practice.

2. How will you apply the “Prepare Me Theory” in nursing practice.

 The patients' faith must be our first concern; the majority of terminally sick patients rely on
their faith. It is done within the framework of "prayer," and we must also assist them in doing
this.

3. Differentiate the nurse’s caring behaviors according to Cecilia Laurente

 We must consider our patients' age, length of employment experience, educational
background, civil status, and gender before deciding how to interact with them and use the
compassionate behavior that matches to these criteria.
