Course Description:
This course provides the requirements of GROB-120TP Airframe and Power Plant in
aviation. It covers the knowledge, skill, & attitude required to GROB-120TP Aircraft
construction parts (fuselage, wing, empennage and flight control surfaces), Landing gear
system (extension and retraction system, emergency gear extension system, wheel brake
system and nose wheel steering), Flight controls system, Fuel system, Air conditioning
system and Fire extinguisher maintenance. Engine constructional parts (compressor,
combustion section, turbine, power and accessory gearbox and propeller reduction
gearbox), propeller and propeller assembly ,and Aircraft servicing.

COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, the student will be able
to:

 Describe the general features of GROB-120TP aircraft.


 Identify the airframe constructional parts of GROB-120TP aircraft.
 Characterize the systems of GROB-120TP aircraft.
 State the working principles of the systems of GROB-120TP aircraft.

The method of teaching to be employed in the college is learner-centered method that is an
interactive one.it includes:

presentation and if possible demonstration.

Throughout the course, the student offers will be assessed and evaluated in a contentious
manner with various methods individually and as a group by written exam, assignment,
and presentation that aimed to know whether the student officers understand the core
concept of the course or not.
