 Use earthen diyas to lighten/decorate home


 Go for eco friendly firecrackers
 Use original flowers, leaves and ecofriendly decorative items
 Use natural colour powders while making rangolis
 Gift plants, organic skin care products, handmade bags
 Make your own hand made Diwali cards
 Recycle decorations
 Buy less and reduce plastic use
 Use papers to warp gift items
 Bring your eco-friendly bags while shopping / ask for eco-friendly bags at
shops
 Follow eco friendly tradition (use paper plate/ banana leaves etc for food
serving)
 Arrange event / fun activities for kids to keep away them from firecrackers
Crackers cause tremendous air and noise pollution, trouble
patient, senior citizens, animals and result in fatal accidents.
It causes an uncomfortable feeling to the sick, pregnant,
senior citizens and infants. It affects them physically and
mentally. Use them with Limitations.
