Can we live without mobiles? Different people will
answer this question in a different way. But most of
them will say that it is the greatest achievement
nowadays because we are independent of the post-
offices, we can phone everywhere we need and get
the answer. Fathers and mothers are pleased to
know where their children are at the moment and
how their parents feel themselves. Mobiles are very
useful for people who need to be connected to their
company computers and see the information they re-
quire for work. Businessmen often talk over their
mobiles on board the planes, they don’t waste their
time. People can also get weather forecast on their
mobiles regularly. If you can’t phone, you can send a
message to your friends and invite them to go some-
where for entertainment. But there are also people
who don’t phone anybody but want others to phone
them. There are also people who ignore mobile
phones and don’t like when other people speak too
loud over the mobile. It irritates them. We’re all
different and we have to be polite and tactful to
them. For some people the mobiles are more than
just a simple phone. The variety of mobiles is great.
They can fulfill a great number of useful functions.
They can be cheap or expensive, small or large, of
different colours, but one thing is very important:
we use them every day.
