Rig Designs

Super 116E Class

The Super 116E rig is built on the
strengths of the original design, the
LETOURNEAU 116-C rig, while
expanding the capability of its
predecessor, the Super 116 rig.

This rig is proven as a versatile and

cost-effective tool for exploration
and development drilling, with
workover capabilities in moderate
storm locations in water depths to
350 ft. (107 m).

WORKHORSE CLASS
The WORKHORSE® jack-up rig is
engineered to drill in water depths to
400 ft. (122 m) in moderate storm
locations, while holding more than
10,000 kips of drilling variable load
with advanced cantilever capacities.

This rig utilizes the LETOURNEAU

440-kip opposed-pinion elevating
unit and guide system, along with
strong leg structures to handle
seabed uncertainties.
Rig Designs

Jaguar Class
LETOURNEAU’s Jaguar Class
self-elevating mobile offshore drilling
unit is ideally suited for demanding
operations in the North Sea, Gulf of
Mexico, West Africa, South China Sea,
and Trinidad and Tobago. Utilizing the
LETOURNEAU 1000-KIP elevating unit
and the LETOURNEAU STORM LOK®
leg fixation system, the Jaguar is
capable of operating in water depths to
400 ft. (122 m) under harsh conditions
or 500 ft. (152 m) in moderate waters.

Super Gorilla XL Class

Designed to drill in ultra-harsh locations in
water depths to 550 ft. (168 m), the Super
Gorilla XL rig is a high-performance rig used in
challenging tropical storm regions. Similar to
the Super Gorilla design, the Super Gorilla XL
rig is built to perform in many locations around
the world, including Norway and the Eastern
Canadian seaboard
