    affect him/her as a judge?
    a) How does the judge ensure that his/her prejudices do not influence his/her attitude to the
    parties etc. or his/her legal assessments?
    b) Would his/her standpoint be affected if the identity of the parties were different?
    c) Would his/her opinions be affected if the parties were represented by different counsel?
    d) Would his/her opinions be affected if a party had a different social or cultural background?
    e) Is there any circumstance of a party (for example, grounds for discrimination) that could have
    an unacceptable influence on the judge?
