This subject ETHICS tackles a person's moral value and standards. Having
ethical values and standards is critical since it can assist a person in becoming a better
person. Even if life throws us curveballs from time to time, this course taught us how
to deal with them in a responsible manner without sacrificing our ethical ideals. People
must have a clear knowledge of the purpose of ethics, as well as what they should do
if they are faced with a situation in which they are unable to make a simple decision.
Some of us make decisions without considering what might happen next if we do this
or that. Always keep in mind that when making a decision, it is critical to evaluate both
the positive and negative aspects. When you're torn in two, try to come up with a
morally acceptable solution that doesn't infringe any laws.
Given our current state, this pandemic has caused a slew of difficulties in our
society, in which so many people are being laid off as a result, employers are struggling
to pay everyone their fair wages. People are having a difficult time finding jobs in the
midst of the crisis, and they will do whatever to provide for their families in order to
survive. So now is the time to put a person's moral values to the test. Some people will
go to any length to survive, including doing jobs that are dangerous. They are in a
situation where they must make a difficult decision, yet they will ask themselves, "If I
take this job, I can provide for my family's needs, but if I decline, how will we survive?"
", and there is a positive and negative side to it. But, before making a decision, you must
consider the consequences of taking the work and what will happen if you truly decline;
is your decision good enough to provide for your family's needs from the money you
earn while doing a dirty job or not? It is better to provide your family with the things they
need from money earned through hard work than obtaining money from a job that
violates a human's ethical worth. Yes, we do have free will to decide what we will do
when faced with situations like this, but we must exercise that freewill carefully and
responsibly when something unexpected occurs. Always consider the people who may
be affected by your decisions, not just yourself.
I've gained so much knowledge in this subject that I won't be able to go over
everything, but I can say that having moral principles is the most crucial attitude or
characteristic that a person should possess because it will lead to a better life and bring
out the best in them. Every difficulty we face will always put our moral value as human
beings to the test; it is up to us to decide whether we will be affected or ethically inclined
in our actions.
