What are the essential lessons and learnings you absorbed about this subject
that you consider very helpful for your course and aspirations? Please write it
down to your synthesis :) Also, relate and apply your learnings in Ethics to the
different issues in our society.

This subject ETHICS tackles a person's moral value and standards. Having
ethical values and standards is critical since it can assist a person in becoming a better
person. Even if life throws us curveballs from time to time, this course taught us how
to deal with them in a responsible manner without sacrificing our ethical ideals. People
must have a clear knowledge of the purpose of ethics, as well as what they should do
if they are faced with a situation in which they are unable to make a simple decision.
Some of us make decisions without considering what might happen next if we do this
or that. Always keep in mind that when making a decision, it is critical to evaluate both
the positive and negative aspects. When you're torn in two, try to come up with a
morally acceptable solution that doesn't infringe any laws.

Knowing and understanding ethics can be helpful to me, particularly in my

degree, because being a journalist is difficult, as our job entails informing the public
about everything that occurs on a daily basis. It will not be easy because we will
encounter numerous decision-making issues that will have a significant impact on
ourselves in various scenarios. I know I shouldn't expect things to turn out the way I
want them to because I can't control the passage of time or the circumstances but to
do my job well, I must be professional in everything, especially while considering
solutions to an issue that I am confronted with. It is difficult for me to tell the truth since
I may face troubles that may destroy my personal life. But, because I picked this work,
I must think professionally and for the sake of the citizens. It is crucial for a journalist
to have certain ethical values and standards in order to widen their horizons in this
field. Yes, it is hard, but if we think critically about everything, we may be able to come
up with a solution in which no one is harmed. Because, in our industry, we should
expect that our actions, particularly our words as journalists, may do harm to others,
we simply need to keep those ethical ideals in mind when making decisions so that at
the very least, you still tried to do your best not to harm someone verbally while doing
the right thing as a journalist. In this sector, temptations must be avoided at all costs,
especially when a powerful individual approaches you and offers you money in
exchange for you not exposing others about his or her terrible deeds.

Given our current state, this pandemic has caused a slew of difficulties in our
society, in which so many people are being laid off as a result, employers are struggling
to pay everyone their fair wages. People are having a difficult time finding jobs in the
midst of the crisis, and they will do whatever to provide for their families in order to
survive. So now is the time to put a person's moral values to the test. Some people will
go to any length to survive, including doing jobs that are dangerous. They are in a
situation where they must make a difficult decision, yet they will ask themselves, "If I
take this job, I can provide for my family's needs, but if I decline, how will we survive?"
", and there is a positive and negative side to it. But, before making a decision, you must
consider the consequences of taking the work and what will happen if you truly decline;
is your decision good enough to provide for your family's needs from the money you
earn while doing a dirty job or not? It is better to provide your family with the things they
need from money earned through hard work than obtaining money from a job that
violates a human's ethical worth. Yes, we do have free will to decide what we will do
when faced with situations like this, but we must exercise that freewill carefully and
responsibly when something unexpected occurs. Always consider the people who may
be affected by your decisions, not just yourself.

I've gained so much knowledge in this subject that I won't be able to go over
everything, but I can say that having moral principles is the most crucial attitude or
characteristic that a person should possess because it will lead to a better life and bring
out the best in them. Every difficulty we face will always put our moral value as human
beings to the test; it is up to us to decide whether we will be affected or ethically inclined
in our actions.
