Q. 1. What does Vedica prepare you for and how?

The Vedica Scholars programme is the only programme of its kind that is exclusively
for women and offers an inventive alternative to the conventional MBA curriculum,
which is what first drew me to it. This will provide me with a platform to demonstrate
my abilities and talents while strengthening my weaknesses, which will help me
develop into a strong leader.

I found four distinct courses after reading the curriculum, but the Liberal Arts,
Communication Track and Shadow Mentor particularly impressed me. These three
tracks seemed to be just what I needed to advance my career, in my opinion.

Through real hands-on experience, internships, live projects, and industry

connections, the Liberal Arts track is a distinctive curriculum that will assist me in
improving in many areas, including sustainability, decision-making abilities, public
policy, and many more. These experiences will provide me with the ability to use my
academic knowledge in the real world, which is crucial because as a management
student, my future would be determined by various criteria, including practical
experiences.

One of the most crucial abilities is communication. On the other hand, ineffective
communication techniques result in frequent misunderstandings and dissatisfaction.
My writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills will improve through Vedica's
communication track, which will also help me improve my overall communication
abilities.

Additionally, the Shadow Mentor Program, which links students with accomplished
female business leaders, appeared particularly interesting since it provides a chance
for direct interaction with and learning from successful women entrepreneurs. Having
such mentors would enable me to learn more practical and better comprehend the
difficulties in the corporate world.

Having the opportunity to take part in this programme will assist me in

accomplishing my long-term goal.
Q.2 What would you like to accomplish professionally over the next 3 years?

I'll be prepared to enter the corporate world for at least two years after completing my
management programme. During this time, I'll gain a tremendous amount of
experience, exposure, and learning from seasoned professionals, as well as an
understanding of how organisations are run.

After two years of work experience, I wish to start an NGO for those women who
want to study but are unable to access proper education because of financial
problems, lack of awareness of education etc.

I was inspired to start an NGO by my own experience, when my father and I were
travelling and I saw a woman begging in front of a man who was giving her advice,
"You are so fit, stop begging and do some work." At that time, it occurred to me that
everyone gives them advice but no one gives them job opportunities because they
are not educated.

NGO will work by spreading awareness that how education is very important.
Women who want to get an education but are struggling financially will be given a
platform by our NGO, and they will be made in such a way that they have access to
a variety of work prospects. An educated woman will become financially
independent, inspiring other women in society to follow in her footsteps and boosting
the nation's economy.

Even though the Indian government and several other NGOs are already working on
the "Padhega India, Toh Badhega India" and "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" narrative
projects, more effort is still needed in rural regions.

Our NGO mission is to educate illiterate women and encourage them to

encourage at least five other women to pursue education and financial
security and ask them to do the same, creating a long chain of educated
women which will solve the problem as a whole.
