Siklab is an Obstacle Sports Athlete Mascot design

entry. It is in a shape of a star which is a symbol of
inspiration and positivity.

Design Rationale
Any undertaking begins with a “spark” or inspiration. The
spark then encourages you to be happy and positive. The
mascot is inspired from the “sparkle” emoji symbol.
Whenever you add a sparkle emoji to your comment or
sentence, it is always received as something positive and
inspiring. The design is intended to give a very
encouraging vibe to conquer obstacles.

Pusok is an Elite Obstacle Sports Athlete Mascot design

entry. The name is a play of words, Puso and Pusok.

Design Rationale
Pusok na galing sa Puso. Heart and Passion. After the Siklab
(spark), passion and heart come next. With these two, dreams
are being solidified, you become a better person, and you
understand your surroundings and situation with the use of your
heart. Pusok is derived from the idea of ths POSF’s theme song
“Makapangyarihang Puso”.


DESIGN STUDIES AND FINAL OUTPUT

Final Output. The design is applicable for Marketing Collaterals,

Animation, and Website and App feature. The design set is also
applicable for an actual mascot for an event and/or competitions.
ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ray Magbanua (pseudonym Raykosen) works as a Creative Lead by

day and is a comic creator and illustrator by night. In his creative career,

he created mascot designs aligned with the branding, discipline, core and

values of its companies or organizations. Two of them are Wally mascot of

WalterMart Supermarket and Tsiklab of Sagisag. Ray is in love with Art,

Business and Fitness. Ray’s purpose as a creative is to always create

exciting and meaningful designs.
