This freebie will give you an idea of what a set of notes and corresponding activity look like in
my Earth and Environmental Science Interactive Notebook. You can either purchase the
Lithosphere Unit or the entire notebook which contains the following units:

How I use these in the classroom: My students and I take notes together using the document
camera on the right hand side of the notebook. Then the students do the activity on the left
to reinforce the new material. Because the left-hand side activities are not all my original
creations I have not uploaded the corresponding activities and decided to market this as
Interactive Notebook notes only. The notes are aligned with the North Carolina State
Standards but can be used in any classroom.

I have had a lot of success with the interactive notebooks. It keeps the students organized,
they love them, and test scores have increased drastically. I will upload my original left-hand
work throughout the school year so be sure to check for updates! If you like these notes I
have uploaded the other units in the course.
