PA Billing(Patient Accounting):

PA is considered to be the entry point for the HCA healthcare systems. It deals with the
processes which start from when a person walks into a medical facility for treatment i.e. his
admission details, personal details, insurance details, etc. and continues through to his
treatment details, and ends finally with his billing and payment details. The details are
entered/maintained through online CICS screens and processing of the various transactions
which occur right through the patient's stay in the hospital such as the treatments undergone,
examinations made, and billing takes place through batch jobs in the US night time.
