There are many things about this topic, right?

But before concluding I have one

more problem to discuss with you guys
Part-time jobs become full-time jobs after graduation
I have a story to tell you.
Cc: I have a neighbor. He is 24 now and of course, he graduated about 2 years.
While studying at the university, he worked as a technology driver and shipper.
There is a fact that he earned a good salary. Average from seven to 10 million
dongs per month. I was also quite surprised when I heard that for the first time.
Now at the age of 24, he is still working that job. He said: “I can earn more money
than work in a company. I think now is not the time to apply for a job”.
I agree that his current salary is quite higher than people who just started working
for a month or even a year. But will he be able to increase his salary or that number
still stand, not change? Maybe one year is not enough for a beginner to earn a high
salary. But what about the next two or three years? A long time, but they will get
their dream.
Some students after graduation are still working as a waiter/waitress at the coffee
shop, clothes shop despite not being their majors. They work to kill time, earn
money and like don’t know what their strength is. While other people passed you
to get a position in society, earn higher salaries.
Are you a waiter/waitress or a shipper for the rest of your life? No one expects that.
I don’t have the rule to criticize anyone’s job. All jobs are respected. But for
students, you tried to go to the university, that means you’ve gone the third of your
life. We spend lots of time studying. So why don’t we try more and more to be
more successful? A part-time job is temporary.

Go to the conclusions.
This topic is never old! It is really interesting, especially for freshmen and
sophomores like us. We tend to find and choose something to do while we are at
the university. This will bring many new things even we can escape our leisure.
I have a question for you. Should students take a part-time job?
I think your first purpose when working part-time is to earn more extra pocket
money, right? This is not strange. We love food, milk tea, clothes … it will help us.
When you are willing to work, that means you have responsibility with your life,
more or less, at least, it can take your advance with your own money. A part-time
job also teaches you to manage your money and know the value of money. Let’s
think that when you were young, your breakfast is a bowl of noodles costing 20
thousand dongs, now, it’s equal to the money you work at the coffee shop in 2
hours. It’s precious! This is also like training for you to live independently. In
addition, you can be more confident and comfortable when you have a chance to
face to interact with the type of people you wouldn’t normally talk to. For
example, you chat with your friends every day, which is normal and safe, but how
about your manager and customers who are rough and scolding you, you are
patient, listenable. Congratulations! You are able to face your boss! There are
many advantages we mentioned before. But there are also many disadvantages,
right? What happens if you are stuck in your work and forget your academic
duties? Maybe you are tired after working and accidentally fall asleep. You forgot
to review the lessons, forgot to do homework. A long time later, you will have a
lack of knowledge and boredom with studying. I am sure that you will start to
think negatively about your major. Why it is so difficult? The teacher gave me bad
marks. Then you must waste more time studying again, even you will give up.
Back to the question
I heard many opinions from you but it has similar content.
Taking part-time jobs or not. It depends on us. Some students work to have more
experience and skills before being real adults. They can be better at communicating
and being more confident. While some students spend all their time at the
university just studying. They find some new courses about a new language, or it
can be a new career that can support their major in the future. But studying will be
mixed with discovering: interact with many people, join some social activities to
expand their knowledge, … if students don’t want to be passive. I think that you
should work because it will be a good chance for you to challenge yourself and get
used to real life. But let’s sure that you can balance your studying and working,
let’s arrange your time smartly not to miss your expectations. During the first two
years at the university, you can work any job that you are into. But in the last two
to three years, finding and practicing jobs related to your majors is the best
thinking. You will not be embarrassed when you apply for your job in the future.
You had some experience to face difficulties.
Someone shared: “I don’t like my current major. It’s not suitable for me so I find
part-time job to live”
Yes. I know that maybe your major doesn’t make you find interested. It is your
parent’s expectations, it’s a choice without any reason. Everything makes you
stuck in your temporary job. But let’s think that you are so young and many
opportunities will come with you. You have much spare time to work. Do you
know why the time in university is less stressful than when you were in secondary
school or high school? It spends time for you to think about your future, who you
are, and what you will do. Many people waste seven to ten years to get success in
spite of being quite old.
